Answers before you ask.

Everything new clients want to know before booking — pricing, scheduling, what we clean, products, payment. If you don't see your question here, just ask.

01

Pricing & Quotes

Pricing depends on the size of your space, type of cleaning, and frequency. Standard residential cleanings typically start around $120–$180. Deep cleans start at $280. Move in/out ($320+) and post-construction ($450+) are quoted individually based on scope. Commercial contracts are custom-quoted based on square footage and service frequency. Free quotes are always available.
Yes. Bi-weekly and weekly recurring clients receive discounted rates compared to one-time cleaning. The more consistent the schedule, the lower the per-visit rate. Ask during your quote for specific numbers based on your home.
Pets don't add cost — we love them. Larger homes or homes needing extra attention (heavy pet hair, extensive dust, etc.) may take more time and be quoted accordingly. Any adjustments are discussed upfront, never sprung at the end of a visit.
Yes. No fees for quotes, no fees for estimates, no fees for coming out to look at your space if needed. We only get paid when you book a cleaning.
02

Scheduling & Booking

Same-week booking is available for most requests, and sometimes same-day for urgent needs. Move-out and post-construction jobs booked in advance get priority scheduling. During peak seasons (spring cleaning, end-of-lease season), booking 1–2 weeks out is recommended.
Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm. We're closed Sundays. Commercial contracts can include after-hours or overnight cleaning by arrangement.
We ask for 48 hours notice when possible so we can offer the slot to someone else. No cancellation fees for scheduled clients — life happens, we get it. Last-minute cancellations (under 24 hours) may incur a small fee for one-time bookings, but not for recurring clients.
No — most of our regular clients give us access via key, code, garage entry, or lockbox, and we clean while they're at work. We're fully bonded and insured, so your home and belongings are protected. If you prefer to be home, that's fine too.

What we clean

A standard clean handles surfaces and high-traffic areas — kitchens, bathrooms, floors, dusting, trash. A deep clean adds the detail work — baseboards, grout, cabinet fronts, appliance interiors, vents, ceiling fans, and behind moveable furniture. It's the difference between wiping the kitchen and detailing the kitchen.
Interior windows can be added to any standard clean as an add-on. Laundry (wash, dry, fold) is available as an add-on. Dishes we load into the dishwasher and run as part of standard kitchen cleaning; hand-washing large loads is an add-on. Just mention it when you book.
We vacuum carpets thoroughly on every visit, but carpet shampooing is a specialty service we don't offer in-house. We work with a trusted local carpet cleaner and can coordinate scheduling if you need both services.
Yes. We adjust products and techniques for the surfaces in your home. Marble gets pH-neutral cleaners. Hardwood gets manufacturer-safe products. Stainless steel gets streak-free finishing. Let us know at quote time what special surfaces you have and we'll confirm our approach.
04

Products & Safety

Professional-grade cleaning products that are effective yet safe for homes with pets, children, and sensitive occupants. We use a mix of commercial-strength cleaners for tough jobs and gentler formulas for daily surfaces. All products are stored and used per manufacturer safety guidelines.
Yes — at no extra charge. Just let us know when you book if you'd like us to use plant-based, non-toxic, or fragrance-free products throughout your home. We have full lines of green-certified cleaning supplies available.
Absolutely. Most of our clients leave pets home while we clean. If your pet is anxious around strangers or vacuums, mention it at booking and we'll work around them — sometimes clients close pets in a bedroom or bathroom while we clean the rest of the house. We'll follow your preferences.
Yes — PinkStar Cleaning is fully licensed, bonded, and insured in Washington State. Certificates of insurance are available on request for landlords, property managers, and commercial clients that require them.
05

Payment & Policies

We accept cash, check, credit card, Venmo, and Zelle. Payment is due after each cleaning. Recurring clients can set up autopay for convenience — we'll charge your card automatically after each visit so you don't have to think about it.
No long-term contracts for residential clients. Recurring services are month-to-month — you can pause, change frequency, or cancel anytime. Commercial contracts have a standard 30-day cancellation clause so both sides can plan around changes.
If something isn't right with a cleaning, let us know within 24 hours and we'll come back to make it right at no additional charge. No arguments, no fees, no fine print. In our experience this rarely happens — but when it does, we handle it.
Tips are never expected but always appreciated by our team. If you'd like to tip, cash left with a note or added to your Venmo/Zelle payment goes directly to the team who cleaned your home. Anywhere from 10–20% of the visit cost is standard, but tipping is entirely at your discretion.
Accidents are rare but they happen. We carry full liability insurance to cover any damage caused during a cleaning. If something breaks, we report it immediately, document it, and work with you to repair or replace. That's what the insurance is for.
